Kalikova & Associates Client Alert: The Government extended the registration period for foreign nationals in the Kyrgyz Republic

Following the amendments to the legislation on foreign migration relating to the registration of foreign nationals, please be kindly informed that on 19 December 2016 the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic adopted a Decree on approval of the list of countries, the citizens of which may stay in the Kyrgyz Republic without registration for a longer period of time. Pursuant to the Government Decree starting from 19 December 2016 nationals of 92 countries are exempt from registration for the period from 8 to 90 business days.
